Is Smoking Weed Dangerous Post Acute Appendix Surgery?
hello my name is Mike , okay so we all no that smoking weed is not good for you, I want to know what are some real RISKS. I had surgery on my acute appendix Saturday morning, now that it s Monday night . Is it ok that I smoke . The only meds the doctor gave me was AMOX-CLAV 875mG tablets and OXYCODONE/ACETAMINOPHEN 5-32mg tab , please I want to know everything because I never take pills for any type of healing etc .
Dear patient Smoking is always dangerous and it leads to multiple disease including cancer. Of particular importance at present is delayed healing of wound. Medication you are taking is antibiotics ( moxy clav ) and painkillers ( oxycodoneacetaminophen ) . They both do not interfere with your smoking habit. So I would advise avoid smoking till there is complete wound healing and sutures are removed.
