Is Soma Alright To Take For Pain,or Is It More

Is soma alright to take for pain,or is it more to help with sleep..I hav a torn acl,,split knee cap with screws in it and 6 screws in my back and a bullet in my spinal cord..And i stay in constant pain and my dr.knows this but gives me the run around when i ask for pain pills and then he only gives me 50g tramadol which dont work and he use to giv me norco 5/325.i ask for a pain management dr.and they taking their tyme or not trying to get me one
