I have been with my boyfriend, on and off (however for the most part pretty steadily) for about 3 years now. Within this span of time he has slept with 2 other women, as far as I know. Most recently, over the summer, we had gone on a break and he had slept with someone else, and as did I. Despite this, once we resolved our problems we got back together in august, and I got tested. Results were negative. Now its December, and he had gotten sick with bronchitis. In addition, 2 sores broke out in his mouth, which he said sometimes come and go with stress. Not thinking, we had oral sex. Now, just a few days later, I went to the OBGYN because my vagina has never been so sore/red/puffy, etc. The doctor said it seemed I have herpes.

I am waiting for the results.



My question is, is it most likely that I got herpes from my boyfriend? or is it more likely that I contracted herpes from my other partner over the summer. I found it coincidental that just a few days after my boyfriend had sores, my vagina breaks out into a horrible reaction
