Is Sore Throat With Yellow Mucus And Blood Normal After Septoplasty?

I had septoplasty 6 days ago I have a sore throat still and have to clear my throat all the time of yellow mucus and blood is this normal and will it go away I had the surgery to try to stop post nasal and breathe better my throat always feels full I don t know thank you

Noted your history of septoplasty done to stop postnasal drip and breathe better as the throat always felt full.
The problem after septoplasty done 6 days ago is that you have yellow mucus with blood; this is not normal at all and indicates that you have an infection and need a course of an antibiotic and supportive medicines like an anti-inflammatory and decongestants.
Local nasal cleaning with sodabicarb and normal saline may also help to clear the problem you have.
Do not worry, this will get cured.
