Is Sperm Count Of 25 Million/ml Normal?

Hi Here is the semens analysis! Volum - 3 ml, viscosity - good, Sperm COunt - 25 million/ml, Morphology - 55% Normal , 45% abnormal, RBC - 8-10, PUS cells - 4-6 hpf, epithelial Cells - Occasional. Actively Motile - 1 hr - 40% 2 HR - 35% 4hr - 20%, 6hr - 10%. Sluggishly Motile - 1hr - 40%, 2 hr - 35% 2 hr - 25%, 6 hr - 15%. Non Motile - 1hr - 20%, 2 hr - 30%,4 hr - 45% 6 hr - 75%

Thanks for writing to us

Your semen analysis report suggests infection.
Infection is indicated by the presence of excessive pus cells and RBC in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed depending upon culture and sensitivity report of semen.

Sperm count,motility and morphology are normal.
