Is Spinal Pain And Lump Between The Sternum Sign Of Costochondritis?

Hi, I was diagnosed with Costochronitis 2 weeks ago, and have had symtoms for almost 2 months. The pain is getting more intense and painkillers (amitriptyline 3 tablets at night now) and paracetamol (8 per day) seem to take some edge off but still feel pain. I have felt a lump between my sternum which moves around and causes pain. I've also had back pain for 3 weeks. The pain feels like muscles are moving around, and feel pain up and down my spine, where the ribs connect, sometimes shooting pain which stops me in my tracks. I've felt lots of strange sensations in my body, namely my ribs pushing out feeling almost like a plate sticking out beneath my breast, sensation of water dripping on my sides back and stomach, gurgling and strange noises coming from my chest moving down to my stomach. Sometimes i touch my stomach / sides and it feels like something bubbling. My GP thinks I'm winding myself up a bit but this pain is stopping me doing everything. Walking around, bending down, twisting, exercise, some sitting positions, showering, basically every activity i attempt is difficult. Are these symtoms all to do with the costo?? Thanks in advance
