Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Spinal tuberculosis and for that reason any form of tuberculosis is not transmitted genetically from generation to generation , I mean it is not genetically transmitted.
It can be transmitted congenitally from mother to baby , if mother suffering from tuberculosis of genital tract but in your case chances of transmission are not there as you have been treated for tuberculosis and are cured and more over you were suffering from spinal tuberculosis.
More common is infection for the neonate is postnatal airborne transmission from an adult with infectious
pulmonary tuberculosis , which you are not suffering.
But as there is family history of tuberculosis , be cautious and any member of your family having
cough ,
fever of long duration , or history of
weight loss needs to be evaluated for tuberculosis.
In nutshell , it is not transmitted from generation to generation genetically and as of now chances of your baby getting tuberculosis form you are not there.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you and your coming baby a good health.
