Is Sporadic Light Headedness A Withdrawal Symptom Of Duloxetine?

I have not been taking my duloxetine 60mg for 4 days cause I can t afford it till Friday, and I have been taking the drug for over 10 years. I feel very odd. I feel very light headed comes and goes, and I have get very hot and go into a sweat for abt 1 to 2 minutes, my head feels like pressure is building but doesn t hurt like medicine head if that makes any sense. I guess what I am asking is it withdraw from the med, or should I be more concerned.

Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

There are withdrawal symptoms that can occur as a result of stopping Duloxetine and based on what you are experiencing, it is likely that you are experiencing withdrawal.Persons can experience dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. These are some of the symptoms that can occur. If your symptoms are severe or causing significant distress then you should be seen by your doctor. Other causes may also need to be ruled out.
