hello, i have had miscarriage in april, i was 11 weeks pregnant. i have had erpoc on the 20 april and since then very regular period- every 30 days. since then we are trying to get pregnant again. now i should have had period on the 19 august but still nothing. i have done 3 pregnancy tests and all negative. i have had very light spotting on the 8 august which i though was ovulation. is there a chance i can be pregnant now?
Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) As you have regular cycles of 30 days , it is absolutely right to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test will be of help.
3 ) If your pregnancy test is negative, then you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with a course of progesterone tablets. About withdrawal bleeding, your treating doctor can guide you further.
4 ) When trying for the baby, I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen . Start with Vitamin B 12 and Folic acid supplements. This will help to prevent various complications during the pregnancy.
I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
