Dear Sir, I am a 33 years old male who has been diagnosed with Otosclerosis. My doctor has advised Stapedectomy but I am not fully comfortable going ahead with this surgery. The current symptoms include impaired hearing (more loss in the right ear vis-a-vis left), fullness in the right ear, headaches at times, heaviness in the head. Sometimes, it also feels as if mucus has accumulated in my head. I am also on a continuous medication for controlling my high blood pressure since the year 2008. My height is 5 10 and I am obese with a body weight of 115 kg. Can I get rid of otosclerosis without surgery? Regards, Nitin Oberoi
