Is Statin Advisable For A Person With Factor V Leiden Disorder?

Age 60, 5 8 , 140 pounds, female. RX expired, so off Levothyroixin for a couple months till I got a new doctor in the state we moved to. Blood tests came back. TSH at 116.400 (not a typo) and Cholesterol total 329. LDL 204. HDL 107. New doctor wants to put me on statin asap. I have Factor V and do not want to do that. I ride a bike 60-90 minutes every day. Any advice?
