Is Stent Required Or Blockages In Artery Be Cured With Medicines In A 23 Year Old?
Iam a 23 yr old male.. For Mild chest comfort i consulted a dr and advised to Angiogram.. reports say that I have two blockages(LDA) of 70%. and advised for placing stent. At this age do i need to place stent or can i dissolve the blockage in medicines? Is Placing stent risk?even after 15 days after angiogram Till now i dint feel any hard discomfort in chest and quite normal.. shocked to c the reports.any risk in life?

I am sorry but if you have an LAD blockage of 70% you need a stent placement(Cardiologists put it in a coronary artery if the stenosis is more than 70%).
You are too young but there is nothing to do, medicines do not clear coronary plaques.
The risk of the procedure depends on the location of the stenosis in the LAD, but usually the risk nowadays is low.
