Is Sticky, Yellow Discharge Normal After Menopause?

I am 60, married and went into menopause at 45 yrs old. I have a sticky yellow discharge which I thought might be thrush, though I have no itching and canniston made no difference. Sex is rare as it is extremly painful so I am not sure if I should worry or this is normal?
