Is Stinging Pain Around The Scar Of Bowel Obstruction Surgery A Cause For Concern?
Good morning, I recently had a small bowel obstruction and had surgery 7 weeks ago, I am finding that I have a stinging sensation not at the sight og scaring but to the right off it, could I have over stretched or is this something to be worried about . thanks YYYY@YYYY

As per my clinical experience, the internal healing process is going on at 7 weeks period. In such instance, the stinging sensation aside the scar may be of non-specific concern, however if there is following signs or symptoms one must be cautious for the same:
- Constant or increasing pain
- Associated nausea, vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Altered bowel habits such as severe constipation or diarrhea
- Fever
