Is Stomach Pain Post Intake Of Pain Medication For Tooth Extraction A Cause For Concern?

My 21 year old son just had one of his wisdom teeth abstracted today and when he came home he took his prescription for pain, ate a bowl of potato soup, about 45 minutes later he ate a bowl of ice cream. Now he s complaining of stomach pain and said it s not nausea nor gas. He said the pain on a scale from 1-10 is a 6. Is this common? What should I do???

As per your complain abdominal cramps can occur as a side effect of the prescription painkiller that your son is taking for pain control after extraction..
In case if the pain is continuous you should consult your dentist and get the medicine changed..
