Is Stress Causing Delayed Menses, Lightheadedness And Distraction?

I consulted my doctor, and had blood tests... My period is a month late (no I am not pregnant), he did tests on early menopause, thyroid and such, my levels are normal. I am 35, female.

My left eyebrow started twitching two days ago, and will not stop. I am seriously considering perhaps stress?? My symtoms are as follows:

- Memory loss (immediate, like "what did I do a second ago), not long term.

- Light headed (most of the time)

- Period late

- Tearful

- Feeling of dread (constant worry)

- Cannot focus

I have a couple of personal financial problems, and also alot of unanswered things happening at work... NOT the workload, I am supposed to get a promotion, but no-one is talking to me about it, and I am being taken advantage of....

Am I just heading for a nervous breakdown??

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. I sincerely suggest that you are victim of your own negative thinking. You cannot term your current state of mind as clinical depression. Rather, this is just disappointment. Disappointment which arises out of unforeseen life events do bring such symptoms like sadness, irritation, anger, lethargy, lack of interest, lack of appetite, forgetfulness etc. Please understand this fact and make sure to introspect. Talking to your friends, out door activities and being creative should give you relief. Find the reason for your disappointment and consult a psychologist if need be.

Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
