Is Substituting Flonase With Mometasone Furoate Nasal Spray Advisable For Curing Nose Bleeds?
My 9 year old son has been using Flonase nasal pray 3 years now and today doctor changed him to Mometasone furoate nasal spray for allergies. The child has been having nose bleeds that have gotten worse last few months, is changing this medication a good choice due to the bleeding.

Both are corticosteroid nasal sprays. Yes you may use mometasone in place of flonase. Please consult your ENT specialist for dosage according to body weight.
