Is Sudden Bursts Of Energy And Excitement In A Dying Person Normal?
My mother is in the final stages of pancoast lung cancer, in hospice, organs failing, no food for 8-9 days and on a morphine pump. She skyped me from her hospital bed today with a huge burst of energy, laughing and fully coherent. I am trying to understand why this is happening. Thank you for your help
from time memorial five stages are described in end stage terminal patients behavior these are denial, aggression, bargain, depression and acceptance with your question I am considering that your mother has accepted her illness once she has accepted it she wants to have her remaining time happy and energetic Don't worry and respect her and be a part of her happiness this is least you can do for her. In case of you are considering any other illness you can consult her treating docyor
