Is Sudden Drop In TSH Levels A Matter Of Concern?

I have no thyroid, was removed 4 years ago. Has been a battle getting my levels right. I was steady for almost a year and all of a sudden my TSH is lo .25 and my annual check up has shown that my wbc is 3.6 and neutrophils is 1.3, everything else in normal range. should I be worried? I am female, work out regularly, 5 9, 148 lbs, muscular build.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The TSH level is the result of the thyroid hormone replacement therapy or Levothyroxine. Low TSH mean that you are taking more Levothyroxine for your body's needs and can produce Iatrogenic hyperthyroidism. Actually your wbc and neutrophils are low. Generally, Levothyroxine do not decrease the blood cells. But this is not an absolute think because there are some rare cases of people that have reported these side effects while taking Levothyroxine . In this circumstances, I suggest to consult your treating endocrinologist to adjust the doses of Levothyroxine and to discuss if your low WBC and Neutrophils are the result of this medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
