Is Surgery Advisable For Dislocated Disc In L4 And L5?

Hi, I have a dislocated disc L-4 & L-5. My PCP believes I need surgery. I have had one neurologist who says surgery is not an option at this time and another surgeon who said I do need surgery. If I don t have surgery what kind of damage can occur, can I become paralyzed?
