Is Surgery Advisable For Tendon Damage In The Foot?
I have an ankle injury. I am too sat off of it amd have an MRI scheduled for next Friday forvTendon damage. I have a fracture under my big and 2nd toe, then injured it again, and caused possible tendon damage... If tendon damage, will I need surgery?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. If there is complete rupture then it should be surgically repaired, but if there is only partial rupture then you should have immobilization and rest for 4 weeks. Fracture should be treated on the same way.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
