General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Your short history of having gallstone of the size of 22 mm X 14 mm in gallstone with some discomfort on the right side of the abdomen is surely indicative of surgery of cholecystectomy. This is necessary as the presence of gallstones precipitate for infection and further complications although this is large enough not to cause any obstruction in future.

Hence, it is the best way to get operated when you are relatively fine. Please go ahead with surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
