sir, I am having euro thyroid my free T3 free T4 and TSH all are normal. Even T3 T4 and ionic calcium are normal. I have a small nodule. Is it Ok we can remove that nodule by surgery or whether we can shrink the same thru medicine. Kindly suggest bec i do not want to go for surgery. Is that nodule cause any health problem in the long run

Please let us know further details like size of the nodule and thyroid function tests. The need of surgery depends on several factors.
1. Size of nodule more than 4 cm 2. Needle biopsy suggestive or suspicious of cancer 3. Nodule extending behind your chest bones (retrosternal extension) 4. Significant pressure symptoms - like difficulty in speech, swallowing, neck pain etc
If you have any of these you should go for surgery.
