Is Surgery Needed For Hydrocele In Testicle?

I m very concerned. I m 37 and was recently diagnosed with Hydrocele in both testicles. The doctor at the clinic said I will need surgery. The pain is growing worse by the day and I now don t even get the sensation of an orgasm. I have NJ Medicaid Pending and cannot get surgery until it s approved. It s been pending for a year now and I m getting scared. Am I in danger and is there anything you can suggest?? Thank you -concerned father to be

Thanks for your query.
There looks to be a great problem in diagnosis. The Hydrocele NEVER has pains.
I would request you to get the diagnosis confirmed by :
Get an opinion of a Urologist.
Get a color doppler and ultrasonography to see the problem. Unless the diagnosis is proper how can one decide the Surgery
You may be suffering from:
Varicocele or bilateral epididymo-orchitis with secondary hydrocele.
Here you may get well with a proper medical management only.
Also get the following tests done;
Blood, urine and stool.
Semen analysis.
