hi, doctor. I am just wondering if I should go to the out of hours as I have had a hernia since October last year and everytime I have been to the hospital I have been left and I have had an operation date but as I have rang to re-arrange it I was then told that it wasn t actually in the book. It felt a lot heavier so I had my partner take a took and it has dropped massively into my scrotum. what do you recommend I should do? thank you
Hello dear user. And Thanks for using HCM service.
Hernia is a health problem which should be treated by elective surgery. When I say elective, is because it can wait when an intestinal Asa doesn't get stuck in the abdominal defects.
However in in the moment it happens it is an emergency and should be resolved by surgery.
What I means is, that that you should be programming your surgery before it happens.
Hope to help with your question. Get better. Remember health is everything. Dr. Nieves Romero.
