my son is 4 years old .todayicame to know that my son needs a major operation for adenoids his symptoms are running nose continously;always breaths with his mouth open ;and no increase in his weight is this surgery required

Yeah 4 to 6 year age is ideal for adenoids removal (adenoidectomy)...delaying it can lead to complications like Chronic Sinusitis,Otitis Media (middle ear infections)
