General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The mode of treatment in case of uterine fibroid is determined by the patient age, size and number of fibroids and desire to conceive. In case of young women desiring fertility, laparoscopic removal of fibroid is advised. Laparoscopic surgery is non invasive and has quicker healing rates than abdominal surgery. Hence laparoscopic surgery is one of the best options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
