Is Surgery Required For The Calcifications Near Extensor Tendon?

I have a partial thickness tear of the common extensor tendon measuring 4x2x7mm, I have two calcifications at the origin of the common extensor tendon 1x1mm and 2.1mm, also a heterogeneously hypoechoic and vascular region encompasing an area of 12x14x9mm in keeping with tendonitis. In layman s terms how much of a problem have I got, how long to heal, and would surgery be of benefit in returning to work more quickly. Meredith.
