Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with thrombosed piles. After 2 weeks of using anobliss cream though the swelling has come down dr has suggested surgical removal. Please advise if surgical option is the best option or should I try using local medicines to further rescue it. Also will surgical treatment permanently remove the piles permanently?
Yes surgical removal is most advised and best treatment option as recurrence is dealt with by surgically removing the problem. The current piles should be removed with the surgery, future development of new ones is not related to the current surgery, but yes, it is more of a permanent solution.
Best wishes.
