Is Swallowing A Small Amount Of Plantar Wart Medication A Cause For Concern?
Hello. I am using a plantar wart medication, a salycilate acid 17%. I may have accidentally gotten a tiny amount in my mouth. I am having a burning sensation behind my upper teeth and tingling on my tongue. I have rinsed with water several times. I also started a new allergy medication, levocetirizine, about 20 minutes before this reaction. I am unsure if there is anything I should do.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the history of wart and mouth lesion may be unrelated for the mouth lesion it could be stomatitis may be because of low folic acid so it is advisable to have to have some folic acid, and local mouth application, which contain "Tannic acid" and local anesthetic agent" hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
