Is Swallowing Of Small Amount Of Plastic Dangerous?

I made a sausage casserole and melted the plastic parts of the pan lid in the oven. I took it off to continue cooking but after eating a potion found a small amount of plastic, stretched from high heat and a metal but from the inside of the pan lid. Is this still safe or am I going to get very ill? I m worried and tend to over worry about things!

it is not good for health should avoid eating it.now since you have avoid in future.now since you have taken it drink more water and take cremafin at bed time.
