Is Swelling And Bruising On The Head After An Injury A Serious Concern?
My baby fell off the couch three days ago and hit her head just under her temple. There is bruising and a scratch. Also swelling.she started running a fever a day ago and now no fever but crying like she s hurting somewhere. Does any of this have to do with the injury and should be worried? She is carrying on with other normal behavior m
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the head injury then ideally it has to be sent for clinical examination, crying may be due to that only because of pain else history of fever has nothing to do with history of head injury and fever, head injury cases needs to be kept under observation for at least 24 hours or could be sent for CT of brain, it can not be taken as granted, and hope this information helps.
