General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction which is not being controlled by prednisone.
So,I suggest you to go to the emergency room for further treatment.
Meanwhile you can take antihistamine medication and use calmine lotion for local relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
