Is Swimming Recommended To A Patient Suffering From High BP And Asthma?

Yes, hi. I am a 63yr old female and suffer from high blood pressure which is controlled with meds. I am also obese and with little to no exertion I wheeze as I do have asthma. What I would like to know is it advisable for me to start swimming slowly. I have had three total knee replacements with one being successful and that keeps me from walking like I really need to. What do you suggest?
