Is Swollen Frenulum With White Spots An Indication Of Herpes?
I recently kissed this girl on last Thursday. Now ok Tuesday I noticed that I had small bumps developing jus under my top lip but can't be seen unless I open my mouth n pull the skin back. I recently noticed that my frenulum is seolen also with white spots. My allergies have been acting up but I think it's jus the season could I possibly have herpes?? I don't have any pain or tingling feeling anywhere
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swollen frenulum with white spots which could be due to herpes and could be due to sore throat due to infection by streptococcus bacteria. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take preventive measures such as do warm saline gargles on daily basis. You should gargle with antiseptic mouthwash. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Take combination of antibiotic such as Amoxicillin and anti- inflammatory drugs. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for blood and throat swab test. Once proper diagnosis has been made start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
