Is taking 10 mg twice a day for 4 days then decrease by one for four days and so forth until the 40 tabs of 5 mg is done for asthma, chest infection while pregnant in early stages safe. I also have achilles tendonitis. So the prednisone helps with inflammation. But it's mainly being used for inflammation in my lungs(asthma and bad cough). I'm also on sulfatrim twice a day 800/160 mg. I also have had a misscarriage on April 6th 2015. But I just found out I'm pregnant. The prednisone seems to help with breathing and inflammation. I read that taking prednisone in low doses of 20mg or less can prevent misscariage. Is this true.. Is it safe for the fetus. In the last misscarriage there was no heartbeat at 8 weeks and 3 Days old ultra sound from mar. 23 ultrasound.I don't want to miscarry again.
