I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that it is about 3 days since you have got the tooth extracted and you should not smoke for atleast ten days as
Smoking even hookah can cause delayed healing..
Along with it it can also increase inflammation in the extraction area leading to pain and swelling..
Secondly if there is no pain you can stop taking painkillers..
But one information I would like to tell you that Hydrocodone/
Acetaminophen combination is not a blood thinner and will not reduce your clot formation capacity..
You can do cool compresses over the
swollen cheek and can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like
Ibuprofen as it will reduce inflammation and swelling..
