Is Taking Amoclav Safe For Gonorrhea Leading To Yellow Pus Discharge?

I just found out that i have gonorrhea. my penis sore and has a burning sensation when i urinate. at first it was just nothing and when i check my penis it has yellow pus discharges and as i search the web it can be treated by antibiotics. I remember I had an antibiotic stored in my cabinet that was from my wisdom tooth extraction and it is AmoClav 875mg/125mg. So I took it earlier. My question is, since it is an antibiotic was it okay that I took that drug even without the prescription of a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
Initially the confirmation of the diagnosis should be done by labaratory methods only.
Though amoclav be used, there are other standard medicines as per protocol, which would produce complete remission.
I would advise
If the lesion still persist, consult your physician, and get antibiotics according to it.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Thank you.
