Is Taking Asprin For TIA Safe For An 81 Year Old?

I am taking daily low dose aspirin 81 mg prescribed by doctor following a TIA in January 2015. I am somewhat concerned about the need to take this, and if any side effects or interactions could have. I am not on any other medication related to the TIA. I am 81 years old.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is all depends upon the area site of ischemia in cerebral region, although low dose Aspirin can be taken with periodic blood test for bleeding time and clotting time factors, hope this information helps.
