Is Taking Finpecia Safe For Hair Loss?

Hello Sir, I have contacted doctor for hair loss treatment and he suggested me Hair 4U Spray and FINPECIA Tabs.And I have been informed by friends that Finpecia will show side effect on sexual life hence pls. suggest whether I should continue the tabs or stop. Also suggest alternate for the same if any which is not having side effects. Thanks& REgards, Ramu

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hair loss which is a condition known as alopecia. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like genetic factor , fungal infection and hormonal changes. Need not to worry. You can continue with Finpecia and take it for shorter duration and restart again. Take Indian gooseberry powder with water once a day and use olive for massage. Keep your scalp dry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray . Doctor may also prescribe supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 and Vitamin E.
