Is Taking Flexon Advisable To Treat Gum Swelling While On Amoxicillin?
Hi.I have a severe pain in my left upper gum. As there is gap between my two teeth so I sometimes get infection. This time it's so bad that I had to do for emergency but there they treated me for migraine as the pain is going till eyes. I am taking amoxcline for infection and with that can I take flexon as pain killer.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of gum swelling which seems to be due to persistence of infection. Yes you can take Flexon along with Amoxicillin as yopu are having sym[pto0ms of pain along with infection. I would suggest you to visit dentist once and get complete examination done. You should visit periodontist and get scaling and root cleaning of that particular quadrant done. You should take antiseptic mouthwash as well. Maintain complete oral hygiene and avoid intake of any sticky substances. It could be possible that infection is going through facial spaces and giving you these symptoms. Get an IOPA done and start treatment as per diagnosis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best wishes, Dr. harry Maheshwari
