Is Taking Gestin With Dexona Advisable To Avoid Premature Birth?
Hi Doc, My wife is 31 weeks pregnant. Her scan revealed baby is facing head down in the womb, the doc has mentioned uterus opening of 30. the doctor told us there is a chance of premature birth and to stop this she has prescribed isoxsuprine hydrochloride Tidlin-20 tablets to prevent contractions. A second gynec has prescribed inj Dexona and prescribed gestin. however the first doctor has condemned use of Gestin and inj dexona. We are confused which one to follow for the baby s growth so that we can prolong birth and help baby s growth

I really appreciate your concern, such medicine being given in such situation but this is nothing to worry because most of the time gestational period gets completed it may not be the direct indication of premature birth hope this information helps.
