Is Taking Hyalgan Shots Safe For Leg Pain In Peripheral Neuropathic Patient?

I have had perifial neuropathy for several years now caused by diabetes. I lot of my problems sound like MS symptoms could I be treating for the wrong thing. I get worse then a bit better. My left leg has pain in the hip and down the front of my shin. My knee was giving me problems but is better after 3 shots of HyalGan.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Diabetes is a common cause of peripheral neuropathy. It can also affect other nerves in different ways as well.
If control is not as good as it should be then the nerve damage can worsen.

It may be possible to have nerve symptoms from 2 conditions (diabetes and ms) but it is not common..
If you suspect MS is present, you would need to see a neurologist for screening.

I hope this helps
