Is Taking Meprate Safe Despite Having Heavy Vaginal Bleeding And Stomach Pain?
From the past 10 years after my second delivery having irregular early periods(18 days from first day) . having fibroid and bulky utress also. More tablets taken to regulate my periods(ovirol m, n, crimson 35 and finally meprate). While taking the tablets I am having mild discharge. I used to take 3 months tablets and stop it for two months. That two months having over bleeding and severe stomach ache. If I stopped the tablets again getting the periods in 18 days. Is it safe to continue the meprate till my menopause. Pl advise
You have a history of fibroids and bulky uterus. Presently you have heavy vaginal bleeding. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get repeat USG (Uterus) done to detect polyp, fibroid and endometriosis. Since you have fibroids and bleeding is heavy your treating doctor may suggest removal of the fibroid. Get all the blood tests and imaging tests done. Your treatment (with oral medicines, injections or surgery) will depend on your clinical condition & reports of the investigations obtained.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
