Is Taking Methadone Advisable Instead Of Suboxone?
ok, ive been on suboxone for 5 months now. it saved my life. i went to fill my script last week and my medicaid didnt cover them. im freaking out because i have been clean for 4 months now. im thinking of going on methadone as an alternative. what do i do? im scared of relapsing. please help me.
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Both suboxone and methadone have same class works the same receptor, yet former is partially acting while later is fully acting on receptor. The withdrawal effects severity is more with methadone however it can be prevented by frequently visiting treatment centre. Hope it helps best. Take your best care.
