Is Taking Ormeloxifene Safe To Avoid Heavy Periods In A Heart Patient?
hello doctor...i m 27 year old..i m heart patient( pulmonary hypertention PPH ) . right now i have also a period problem of excessive flow of blood which last for 8 month. plzz sir give me advise. can i take an ormeloxife medicine?? it is helpful or not for me? i have no bank account
Ormeloxifene is a form of hormonal contraception. Hormonal contraception can decrease bleeding due to some causes but would not work in all situations.
You may need to consider visiting your doctor to find out the cause of the bleeding. It can be related to fibroids, infection, endometriosis, benign (non cancer) growths or due to hormonal causes.
Your abdomen and pelvis would need to be examined and imaging would also be needed. Imaging would likely be an ultrasound of the pelvis.
Treatment would depend on the cause found.
I hope this helps
