Is Taking Postinor 2 While On Bromergon Safe?

Pls Doc am on bromergon tablet to treat my irrugular menstral cycle. but I had unprotected sex wit my husband, to prevent pregnancy should I take postinor 2? Will dere b any side effects since am also taking bromergon tablet which is known to also boost conception.

I understand your concern that you are taking Bromergon (Bromocriptine), dopamine receptor agonists, which will help to improve the chances of conception.

Since you had unprotected sex and want to avoid pregnancy, you can take Postinor 2. There is no drug interaction as such indicated between these drugs.

You need to take Postinor 2 within 72 hours of unprotected sex for it to be effective. You should get your periods within 3 weeks from the day you have taken Postinor 2. Otherwise, you need to seek medical attention immediately.
