Is Taking Regestrone Advisable To Delay Periods?

Hi! I was due for my period 3 days back and have still not got it and now its clashing with an important function. I would like to delay my period for the next 3-4 days. I heard abt regestrone. Can i start it immediately will it help me? And also wat are the side effects tat i can expect out of this medication?

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your 3days delayed menstrual period and a plan to withhold it for the next 3-4days with the use of regesterone I am suggesting that you see a gynecologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Moreover though taking regesterone is useful for hold menses but taking it by yourself without it being prescribed by a physician is a self medication which is inappropriate in the context of Medical ethics
