Is Taking Regestrone Effective In Stopping Periods?

Hi, i have pcos so my doctor asked me to take regestrone 5mg tablet for 3 days to get my period i took one tablet by mistake inorder to delay my period.. today i noticed some bleeding i have an important meeting tomorrow so if I take regestrone now will it stop my period Tomorrow?

u can take two tablets of regesterone instead of one and hopefully it might stop the bleeding.
