Is Taking Tramacet Safe For Chronic Back Pain During Pregnancy?
Hi there. I need some desperate advice please. I m currently 27 weeks pregnant and for the most of my second trimester I ve been taking tramacet for back pain. Prior to my pregnancy I ve been on tramacet for chronic back pain and have had two back ops already. I really suffer with back pain and even had to stop working. I am however terrified that I am harming my baby. Will my baby be born with mental disabilities because of this drug? How does this medication affect my baby and how can I safely go off of it now?
hi, kindly stop using it as tramacet is not safe for chronic use in pregnancy, tramacet which is a combination of tramadol and acetamenophen is used safely only for fever or some acute pain, don't worry about the baby cause as such there are no cases which are reported with birth defects after using tramacet, try using local apllications or consult the pregnancy specialised physiotherapist who may help you to get rid from pain, however get all the tests and ultrasounds to have track on babies development.
